Singapore to offer more home based jobs.

Singapore is going to provide ultra high speed broadband to nearly 60 per cent of local homes by the end of this year. This will give Singaporeans a 10 times more speed to get telemedicine and high-definition videoconferencing. This ultra high speed broadband will enable Singaporeans to work from there home much easier than travelling to their offices in the peak hours to do their jobs.

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) along with the Ministry of Manpower is studying how they can potentially increase the number of work-from-home options with the arrival of the Next Gen NBN (Next-Generation Nationwide Broadband Network)
